Last Wednesday, September 21, I had the great honor and pleasure to present my newest book ‘Overal Opa’s en Oma’s’ (Grampies and Grannies Everywhere) to our acting governor, Mrs. Ella Tromp-Yarzagaray. Mrs. Tromp-Yarzagaray has been following my writing career since I started out in 2003 with my first publication, the children’s poetry collection, ‘Rima Rond Di Aruba’ (Rhymes Around Aruba). At that time she was the Minister Plenipotentiary of Aruba in The Netherlands, an Aruban lady I, and so many, admired for her knowledge, presence and charisma.
